Welcome to an overview of our ongoing projects.
Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) provide valuable information to (prospective) building owners, tenants and investors on the energy performance of buildings and potential ways to improve it. However, current practices and tools of energy performance assessment and certification applied across Europe face several challenges and there is still (hidden) potential for improvement.
Continuation of the successful project “CleanAir by Biomass”
The ENTRAIN project aims at improving the capacities of public authorities to develop and implement local strategies and action plans for enhancing the use of endogenous renewable energy sources in small district heating networks.
The aim of X-tendo is to support public authorities in the transition towards improved compliance, reliability, usability and convergence of next-generation energy performance assessment and certification.
This project aims to provide a dynamic basis for spatial heat planning in Styria, Salzburg and Vienna by creating a "heat atlas". Together, the three federal states, their capitals and a large number of pioneer communities and research partners are working on the shared vision.
This project is one project of the flagship region WIVA P & G, which deal with the production of green hydrogen by means of PEM electrolysis.
The eCentral project is proposed in the context of the EU territorial cohesion policy with the vision to strengthen EU regions in their capacities to conduct projects that increase energy performance of public buildings.
NEWCOM focuses on the development of missing qualification and certification schemes for blue collar workers and building professionals who inspect and control the most relevant qualities with a specific focus on mutual recognition.
Goal of this project is the development of a Styrian air-conditioning systems database for fullfulling the legal requirements.
Goal of the database is the quality management and the documentation of the implementation and planning of new measures.
The Energy Agency Styria manages the quality assurance for energy certificates and could be seen as central link between certificate creators, clients and authorities.
ARGE EBA is an association of the Austrian federal states and their energy agencies.
„Klimaaktiv“ is an initiative for progressive climate protection in Austria.
With this network, the quality of energy consultations in Styria is increased.
In Styria the online-database ZEUS is used for the legally prescribed administration of energy certificates.
The Styrian Government and the Energie Steiermark AG jointly tender the “Energy Globe STYRIA AWARD” and thus award the best Styrian eco-innovations in the fields of energy and environment. According to the European Commission, "eco-innovation is any form of innovation causing or intending significant and demonstrable progress towards the goal of sustainable development by reducing environmental impact, enhancing resilience to environmental pressures or effecting a more efficient and responsible use of natural resources." The Energie Agentur Steiermark is pleased to act as organizer of the event since 2003.
The Styrian Eco-Energy Network is a platform for eco-energy-innovations in Styria.
