The Energy Agency Styria, former LandesEnergieVerein Steiermark, was responsible for the project coordination and the preparation of some materials. The educational documents were divided into the following topics:

• Legal requirements and regulations
• Heating and cooling demand
• Heating energy demand
• Lightning
• Ventilation and air-conditioning technology
• Energy certificate
• Analysis of alternatives
• Norms, calculations and software

These themes were prepared as digital presentations and scripts for the lecturers. The content could be applied for all buildings (new and old, living and non-living buildings). For the first time, useful and comprehensive educational material for creating an energy certificate was available.

In Styria, the trainings started in autumn 2007.
