Bio-Methane Regions


It aimed at fostering the bio-methane development in several motivated European regions. Targeting plant operators, policy makers and the public, feasibility studies, public events, many informational materials, trans-European databases and quality standards for power plants were developed.
Fifteen partners from 11 European member states joined the project for supporting a sustainable development in their regions.
