The strategic objective of “MOVIDA” contributes to the implementation of the recasted European Directive Energy Performance of Buildings 2010 (EPBD) in Europe and promotes energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources among final users.
The project targeted service personnel, regional or national authorities responsible for implementation of the EPBD, the consumers’ associations representing the final users, the national standard organisations and consumers in the residential sector.
The main goal was the development of the “MOVIDA” inspections tool, which provides a complete check of the systems, including the parts: generation, control, distribution and delivery. It enables the service staff to operate the system commercially, performing environmental controls or energy auditing and inspecting the existing buildings energy systems and their performance. The tool is available in eight different languages (English, Bulgarian, German, Greek, Italian, Slovenian, Spanish and Swedish) and is applicable in eight different EU member states: Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
The project “MOVIDA” had several project phases (training, advice-generating tools, code of conduct, evaluation of report quality and inspection impact) and two big inspection campaigns for a few thousand inspections of residential heating systems and small AC-systems (12-50kW) in tertiary and household sectors.
The tool is online available on the project-website.
