Representation of interests is fixed!
The Styrian E-Carsharers are to be established as a kind of umbrella brand of the e-car sharing companies in Styria. Since the province of Styria is a partner of the umbrella brand, the logo “Styrian E Carsharer ” not only represents a seal of quality, but the project also promises optimal networking, exchange of experience and ideas among the partners.

Search for a representative of interest / a representative of interest
In order to officially launch the project, we started looking for a representative of the Styrian e-car sharers in spring 2021 who would act as a contact person and interface for/between the Styrian e-car sharers and the province of Styria and who would further develop the topic of e-car sharing in Styria together with the members. You could apply for this position until May 14, 2021. A corresponding mail went out to all e-car sharing companies in Styria known to us.

Gerd Ingo Janitschek (Managing Director of FAMILY OF POWER) and Karl Puchas (Head of the Local Energy Agency, LEA GmbH) had applied. All Styrian e-car sharers known to us received the link to the virtual election by e-mail and were able to cast their vote until June 24 (1 vote per e-car sharing company).

Why do I want to become the representative of the Styrian E-Carsharers? I would like to pass on the experience gained from the project “e-car sharing in the Styrian volcanic region” to other car sharing initiatives in Styria.

Life motto/ What is important to me? Climate protection, economy and prosperity are not mutually exclusive. Intelligently combined, they form a unit and create a symbiosis at the highest level.

The next steps
Coordination meetings are currently underway with a wide range of stakeholders. The results of the discussions as well as the advantages of membership in the “Styrian E-Carsharers” are to be presented to interested Styrian e-car sharing operators at a joint kick-off event in autumn 2021.
