Directive 2010/31/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the energy performance of buildings requires regular maintenance and inspection of heating and air-conditioning systems with regard to energy efficiency.

In this context, the collection, management and statistical analysis of the data is also a fundamental issue. The aim of the heating database is quality assurance as well as the documentation of the implementation and planning of new measures.

In mid-January 2016, the database was activated for all users. The task of the Energy Agency Styria is user administration and user support as well as coordination with the project partners, data evaluations and conceptual work for the necessary further development.
