The renowned Styrian Energy, Environment and Climate Award

The Energy Globe STYRIA AWARD is the renowned energy, environment and climate award of Styria. The Province of Styria and Energie Steiermark jointly award the provincial prize and annually award the best Styrian eco-innovative projects in four Styrian categories as well as on a focus topic:

• Research: Research with a high degree of innovation
• Application: eco-innovative products, services, business models, processes and campaigns
• Municipalities:outstanding commitment at the municipal level

Das Fokusthema 2023 ist die “Energieeffizienz”. Gesucht werden innovative und multiplizierbare Projekte, die nachweislich und signifikant Energie einsparen.

Anyone is eligible to participate – from research institutions to industry, commerce, companies, farms, municipalities, regions, associations and initiatives, and private individuals. In the Youth and Education section, outstanding school or pupil projects, diploma theses, projects by students or youth associations as well as educational projects are also awarded.

A jury of experts selects the best projects from all Styrian submissions, which will be awarded at a festive event by prominent sponsors from politics and business.

The Energy Agency Styria is responsible for the promotion and implementation of the provincial energy globe STYRIA AWARD and organizes the award ceremony.

The Energy Globe STYRIA AWARD is also the regional level of the renowned international environmental award Energy Globe Award. All entries for the Styrian provincial prize Energy Globe STYRIA AWARD automatically take part in the national and international competition.
