ECOPOL
Main focus areas include Green Public Procurement as a powerful demand-side instrument; Waste and Recycling as a sector with a high CO2-footprint and high potential for business creation and Internationalisation as a means to boost the growth of eco-innovators. ECOPOL is one of the milestones mentioned in the Eco-Innovation Action Plan as a major tool for co-operation between the European Commission and member states.
